Greg Spicer

Chief Executive

As co-founder of the business, Greg holds principal responsibility for the Xn Global Systems Group of companies. Joining the business in 1998, he has formulated and delivered a global strategy across many geographies, leading major milestones of the Company’s expansion, including product strategy, regional sales office establishment, key client generation and commercial growth.

Greg started his hotel and hospitality technology career as Systems Manager for Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation in 1986. Since then, he has spent 35+ years in the Point-of-Sale, Hotel PMS, Central Reservations and Residential Property technology sectors. His roles within the group have included VP Sales Asia, Strategic Marketing Director and Managing Director – Hotel Division. He was appointed Chief Executive in 2010.  Previously he held senior sales and management positions with Micros-Fidelio (Oracle Hospitality) (1987-1998). Greg has an MBA from Macquarie University and an Associate Diploma in Hotel & Catering Management.

Mark Pearman

Mark is responsible for the overall performance of the xnPOS business in the US, Europe and Middle East. He is a co-founder of the business having led the management buy-out that formed the Xn group in 2007.

Mark qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co (now part of Deloitte). Following a number of years in investment banking with Samuel Montagu & co (now part of HSBC Investment Bank) he held various senior management positions in both public and private companies, including as the Chief Executive of a FTSE 250 company. Mark has some twenty five years of experience working in the point of sale software and services industry

Douglas Rice is an industry leader in the global hospitality technology industry, and now advises hotels, technology providers, and investors on strategic technology planning, market development, funding, and mergers and acquisitions.

He is best known for his role as a founder of the global non-profit industry association Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG), Douglas served as its first chief executive, growing HTNG over his 11-year tenure from a start-up all-volunteer effort to a global industry association with thousands of members, a multimillion dollar annual budget, and nearly a dozen full-time staff. Douglas was inducted into the Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals (HFTP) Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame in 2012 and is the only recipient of the Lifetime “Most Valued” Award from the China Hospitality Technology Alliance.
